What would cycle tourism in the Saimaa archipelago be without the ferries? Cycle ferries and their cheerful crew will take you and your bike across the Lake Saimaa skerries to your next destination.
For the 2023 season there are updated services, please always check the current situation. Norppa II takes 20 cyclists and the Utula ferry takes 3 cyclists at a time. Click on the timetable to see a summary of the timetable for that service.
- See the map.
- Choose which pier you start from and where you want to go.
- Get tickets for all passengers well in advance. Bike transport is included in the ticket price.
- The ticket office closes 2h before departure. If the ticket office has time to close, contact the ferry operator by phone.
- Book your seats from Karoniemi to Utula, or vice versa, at the Utula ferry.
- Arrive at the pier early.
- Enjoy the trip and Saimaa!
